Building the infrastructure behind Plume, where regulated advice meets intelligent technology.
Technology & Product professionals at Skybound are the people building and evolving Plume — our proprietary wealthtech ecosystem. This is not generic fintech. Plume is a fully integrated platform that connects every stage of the advice journey, from client discovery and risk profiling through to portfolio monitoring and annual reviews.
This pathway suits individuals who want to build systems that are in active use by advisers and clients across multiple jurisdictions, and who understand that reliability, clinical accuracy, and governance are as important as innovation. You will be working within a regulated financial advisory environment where every product decision has a direct impact on the quality of advice delivered to real clients.
If you are motivated by experimentation without oversight, this environment may feel structured. If you value building platforms that genuinely change how professional advice is delivered, it may be the right fit.
Technology & Product teams design, develop, and maintain the systems that power Plume and the broader Skybound advice infrastructure.Typical responsibilities include:
The objective is not innovation for its own sake. It is a scalable, reliable platform ecosystem that makes advice clearer, more accurate, and more consistent — for advisers and clients alike.
There is no single route into this function.
Professionals may join from financial services technology environments, product management roles within regulated industries, infrastructure and data engineering teams, or early-career technical pathways with strong analytical foundations.
Experience building within regulated environments is valued, but structured thinking, product ownership, and a commitment to quality matter most.
We recruit selectively across regions and disciplines. Each role contributes directly to advice quality, governance standards, or the infrastructure that supports both.

Careers within Technology & Product evolve through increasing ownership of Plume's capabilities and cross-regional infrastructure. Professionals typically develop along one or more of the following paths:
Expanding responsibility for Plume's core architecture — from risk and data systems through to the mobile app and infrastructure layer.
Owning the roadmap for specific Plume products: MoneyMap, the Skybound App, the Solution Finder, or Pitch and Recommendation tooling.
Managing cross-office consistency, data integrity, and governance-aligned workflows across jurisdictions.
Contributing to Plume's long-term evolution as a proprietary platform — aligned with Skybound's advisory growth and regulatory obligations.
Advancement reflects capability, execution quality, and measurable contribution to how advice is built and delivered.
Technology teams collaborate closely with advisers, compliance, and operations. Governance requirements are integrated into Plume's design from the start. Development cycles are structured, and priorities are aligned with firm-wide standards. You are not building in isolation. You are building the platform that advisers rely on every day, in every office, across every client interaction.

The environment values precision, stability, and long-term reliability.Expect cross-functional collaboration, clearly defined product objectives, and accountability for the performance of systems that real advisers and clients use. Innovation is encouraged, but it must function within regulatory and operational realities.
Plume is a live, evolving platform. The work is consequential.
Technology here operates within a regulated advisory framework. Reliability, clarity, and governance alignment are as important as feature velocity.
The work requires structured product thinking and comfort balancing development speed with compliance oversight. Those seeking loosely governed startup environments may find the discipline demanding. Professionals who value building infrastructure that endures and that directly shapes how thousands of clients experience financial advice, will find the framework purposeful.

“Our role is to make advice clearer and more reliable through infrastructure. Technology here strengthens judgment, transparency, and consistency across jurisdictions."
