Shil Shah is the Group Head of Tax Planning at Skybound Wealth and one of the firm’s most in-demand technical specialists. Based in London, he brings deep UK and international tax capability paired with a rare understanding of expat lives. His work sits at the centre of Skybound’s joined-up advice model, shaping the decisions that protect and grow client wealth across borders.

A Chartered Accountant (CA), ICAS Tax Professional (ITP) and qualified financial planner, Shil blends precision tax analysis with clear, practical advice. He supports senior executives, founders, entrepreneurs, international families, professional athletes and globally mobile professionals across the UK, Europe, Switzerland, Middle East, US and beyond.

Before joining Skybound, Shil spent nine years at Deloitte and KPMG, advising business owners, senior corporate leaders, non-UK domiciliaries and relocating talent on residency, domicile, remittance basis planning, offshore structures, trusts, UK property taxation, HMRC enquiries and pre-arrival structuring. He later advised at a Partner Practice of the UK’s largest FTSE 100 financial advice group, giving him real hands-on experience with complex private-client wealth that few tax professionals ever gain.

At Skybound Wealth, Shil leads the groupwide tax planning proposition across regions and sub-brands, including Global Partners, Athletes & Creators and Women Like Us. He works closely with advisers and leadership team on complex cases, strengthens global client outcomes and embeds tax planning into the Plume Tech ecosystem. His integration of tax strategy into our MoneyMap technology ensures clients receive tax-led, globally aligned recommendations that reflect the reality of their international lives.

Shil holds a degree in Mathematics from King’s College London.
