What does your recent appointment as Country Manager for Spain mean for you and the business?
It’sa role I’m really excited about and one that reflects the direction thebusiness is taking in Spain. We’re seeing growing demand from international clients who need structured, regulated advice that works across borders. As Country Manager, my focus is on leadership, maintaining high professional standards, and ensuring consistency in how advice is delivered across the region, while continuing to work closely with clients and the wider Skybound team.
Who inspired you to pursue a career infinancial advice?
At my previous employment, one of the top managers was a female. I was always inspired by her success and her passion for watching people progress. She always supported me, even though I was young and relatively inexperienced, and made me feel comfortable asking questions. She had faith in me, and that had a big impact on my career.
What does a typical day at Skyboundl ook like for you?
No two days are the same. My role combines client work with leadership responsibilities – from meeting with clients and supporting advisers, to internal training, oversight, and collaboration with teams across the group. Continuous learning is a big part of the culture at Skybound, and staying close to both clients and colleagues is essential.
What do you enjoy most about delivering international financial advice?
I enjoy helping people take control of their financial future, particularly when their lives span more than one country. Being able to structure advice that works across borders and adapts as clients’ circumstances evolve is incredibly rewarding.
How do you describe cross-border financial planning?
It’s about creating clarity. Helping clients understand where they are today, what they want to achieve, and how different jurisdictions, tax systems, and regulations interact along the way. A clear roadmap makes long-term goals feel achievable.
How do you ‘give back’ within the industry?
The Women Like Us network is something I’m very proud of. It helps supportand mentor women pursuing careers in finance, creating a platform where experiences are shared and voices are heard. Building a supportive environment is essential for the next generation of advisers.
How have you adapted to an ever-changing financial landscape?
The pace of change has been significant – from regulatory developments to new ways of working and communicating with clients. Adaptability, continuous education, and strong collaboration across teams have been key to delivering consistentadvice, even as the environment evolves.
