Financial Advice

Triple A Review Service

Every year your financial adviser will contact you to review your investments, you turn up to the meeting, answer some questions and listen to some recommendations.

But when was the last time you compared these suggestions independently?   In fact, when did you last review your financial advisor? After all they are who you entrust your families future in.

The Triple A Standard Review

Skybound Wealth’s Advice and Adviser Analysis review is designed to help international expatriates look at all sides of their investment portfolio. Rather than simply reviewing your investments as they are today, our expert team look at other critical factors such as: if your adviser is equipped to support you if your life takes you to another remote destination, the fees you are paying, and using comparator software we can establish how your investments compare against our purpose-built portfolios.

Designed for international expatriates with liquid assets over £500,000, a senior financial adviser will provide a complimentary consultation that goes through all of the above and more.

Advice

Looks at the existing advice you have been given and as such the plans you currently have in place. Whether it takes into account things like unforeseen life events, planned and unplanned moves to new countries and when you return home.

Adviser

Looks at the way your adviser is renumerated, whether they are completely independent, if they are able to provide a continuous service if your expat journey takes you to a new continent.  We also look at what ongoing support they provide in terms of educational content and how pro-active they are when it comes to new opportunities.

Analysis

Once we have researched both your current adviser and the advice they have provided, our team of experts will analyse the finer details before making impartial suggestions on what’s working well, what could be improved as well as signposting potential bumps in the road.

Fees: In The Spotlight

Do you understand the charges? Are there hidden fees on your plan?

All firms charge fees, but these can differ greatly from company to company. Typical fees charged include upfront fees on the funds and underlying investments. Many funds also have very high annual management charges, occasionally upwards of 3%.

Fees are an accepted necessity when seeking high quality financial advice. Yet the amount and way you are charged can differ drastically from firm to firm. And with fees the most common drag on returns its important you understand exactly what you are paying.
