If bond yields continue to strengthen, then the transfer value of your pension may be affected. If you are thinking of moving your pension, particularly if you live overseas, then it would be preferable to obtain a CETV before bond yields strengthen further. Once you have your CETV, it is guaranteed and valid for three months. During this period, you have time to consider whether you wish to proceed with a transfer.
